Jake's MRI

Jake has an MRI tomorrow morning at Cedars Sinaii in LA. I'm kind of freaking out because they'll have to use general anesthesia for the procedure (and besides the usual risks, there are also some special considerations with achondroplasia). Otherwise, I have no idea what to expect because they haven't even called me yet!! I have called them and left a message so hopefully I'll hear something today. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and I'll let you all know how it went on Wednesday.

In the meantime, I've been inspired by other bloggers...enjoy!

Wow - I'm amazed that they haven't contacted you at all if the MRI is tomorrow! We really hope for the best for you guys - I'm sure everything will be fine, though - Jakey's great!

Love how the dog joined in on getting Elfed! Jakey will do fine - Trace has had three MRIs, so I know how scary it can be - watch out for the very angry child coming out of anesthesia!

Everything will go well. Aidan has had a couple MRI's as well as CAT scans using general anesthesia and it went well. Odd though that they hadn't contacted you by now. Love the elf card.

Good luck today Jane! I hope the results come back with no concerns! The hardest part is not letting them eat before the anesthesia!

I will be thinking of you all tommorrow. Here's hoping that the MRI is just routine as a great early Christmas present!
